Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo
Spicy Cajun Steak with Creamy Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Season the steak strips with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning. Add
the steak to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5
minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter, minced garlic, and diced
onion. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and remaining Cajun seasoning until the
sauce is smooth and creamy.
