Cheesy Ground
Beef Quesadillas 🌮🧀
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup water
8 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Sour cream, salsa, and guacamole for serving
Instructions:
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef
until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Let it simmer for
about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the beef is well coated. Remove
from heat.
Assemble the Quesadillas:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it.
Place one tortilla on the skillet, sprinkle a layer of
shredded cheese over half of the tortilla.
Add a generous scoop of the seasoned ground beef on top of
the cheese, then add more cheese on top of the beef.
Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
Cook the Quesadillas:
Cook for 2-3
